APIS Company Limited was officially established on 13 September 2001 as a private joint stock company with 7 shareholders: 6 domestic and 1 foreign. After some years of operation the foreign shareholder withdrew, leaving only domestic shareholders, so APIS is now a 100% Lao-owned private company.
APIS Company Limited develops computer software and websites in Lao and other languages, serving government agencies, state-owned enterprises, international organizations in Laos and private businesses of every size. Our work includes financial accounting software certified by the Ministry of Finance, project accounting, inventory accounting, HR and payroll software, and custom management systems built to each client's needs. We also provide IT consulting, accounting system consulting and related services.
APIS Company Limited was spun off from PVK Tech-comp Co., Ltd., a computer equipment distributor and software developer on Dongpalane Road, Sisattanak District, Vientiane.
To let its software team grow fully and work as a professional unit, the team became a separate company: APIS, short for Advanced Programming Information System, or in Lao "modern software development company".
The new company's first office was on Thadeua Road, Thatkhao Village, Sisattanak District, Vientiane, shared with S-Info Company to build a stronger team and split the office rent.
In early 2006 the company moved to Kamphengmeuang Road, Phonthan Village, Xaysettha District, Vientiane, where it stayed until 2014.
During this period APIS built a strong software development team and took part in projects for several government ministries. It also partnered with a software company from Vietnam, and worked with the Vientiane Institute of Technology (VIOT) to run higher-level courses in computing and programming.
Since 2014 our office has been on Lao-Thai Friendship Road, Thongphanthong Village, Sisattanak District, Vientiane.
